1Theworkingareamustbecoveredbyanapprovedconductiveservicematthathas
aresistanceofbetween50kΩand2MΩ,andisconnecteddirectlytoareliable
earthpointviaitsearthingcord.
2Theservicepersonnelinvolvedmustwearawristbandindirectcontactwiththe
skin,connectedtotheservicemat.
3Printedcircuitboardsmustbeplacedontheconductiveservicematduring
installation,maintenanceetc.
4If,foranyreason,itisnecessarytomovethecircuitboardfromtheconductive
servicemat,itmustbeplacedinanapprovedantistatictransportationcontainer(e.g.
staticshieldingbag)beforetransportation.
5Duringinstallationandservicing,allelectricalequipment(solderingirons,test
equipmentetc.)mustbeearthed.
Disposal
Attheendoftheproductlifetime,allKongsbergMaritimeproductsmustbedisposedin
anenvironmentalfriendlyway.
Allelectricalandelectroniccomponentsmustbedisposedofseparatelyfromthe
municipalwastestreamviadesignatedcollectionfacilitiesappointedbythegovernment
orlocalauthorities.Thecorrectdisposalandseparatecollectionofyouroldappliance
willhelppreventpotentialnegativeconsequencesfortheenvironmentandhumanhealth.
