5Placetheprotectivewoodenplateunderthetransducerbodytoprotectitsface.
Transducerinstallationprocedure
ObservethefollowingprocedurestoinstalltheSimradMS70transducerarray.
Installationprinciples
TheSimradMS70transducerarrayisinstalledverticallyinaretractablekeellowered
belowthevessel’shull.Amountingring(B)isweldedtothesidewalloftheretractable
keel(C).Thetransducerispushedinsideways,andtsintothemountingringwiththe
transducerface(E)facingtowardsport.Aclampingring(B)ismountedsideways,and
holdsthetransducerinplacebymeansof12bolts(D).
Theliftingeyesonthetransducermustberemovedpriortonalinstallation.
